Flyspeed starts extremely slowly! 15-20 seconds on fast PC

I have a Ryzen 9 5900X cpu running on 32gb of fast memory / Windows 10 Pro.  Flyspeed takes 15 to 20 seconds to start up - as in, from Start Menu click to appearance of the GUI.  This is way slower than any other application on my machine and I'm just wondering:

1. Are other users experiencing the same launch times?
2. What is Flyspeed doing during this inordinately long launch time?  Phoning home?  And, if so, why?

I have 75 stored connections (but obviously these are not opening when Flyspeed starts up).

I would like Flyspeed to start as quickly as all my other applications!  :-)
