Export to Excel "ERROR" in number fields

Hello,

   I have an issue when I export using MS Excel Spreadsheet all the field in Excel display "ERROR" instead of the number. Other types of fields display correctly.   If I use MS Excel 2007 data type it is ok.  When I check my query the data shows correct.

 

   Has anyone else encountered this issue?   Any Solutions?

Hello, Carlos.

What are your decimal boundaries? Decimal(?,?)

Also, kindly send us a screenshot of your data format settings (a button in the left-bottom corner) of the Export dialog.

Hello Sergey,

 

     The database is Microsoft SQL 2012

     The fields are decimal types.

     It happens with all the the decimal type fields that I export.

 

   FYI, I created an ODBC connection to the sql server and that seemed to work fine.  The direct connection did not.  I guess I will use that.

Hello, Carlos.

We need more information in order to investigate this problem:

1. database server (name, version)

2. problematic field data type

3. does this problem happens only for some specific field values or it doesn't depend on specific values?
