Thank you for your detailed report. This error comes out from the Data Link Properties dialog which is the part of OLE DB, not the software. So, we can not "fix" the problem on our side. I suppose that the problem may arose because you have installed x64 version of Netezza drivers, while FlySpeed utilities are 32-bit applications. If this is true, you should install x86 (32-bit) version of Netezza drivers to use FlySpeed tools. If it's not the case, you should request some assistance from your database administrator.
I apologize for not being very clear from my end. I am including below the screens of the steps I am following and the error windows that I get.
1. I am selecting to connect to an OLE DB connection
2. I selected IBM Netezza
3. I gave the Data source and other details, the intial catalog is by default "system" but when i try and test the connection, it gives the error as shown.
Also, when i try to select form the drop down in the catalog box, it shows me the following error.
I don't have any idea about what had happened on your side as you did not provide any details about your error. When does it happen? Can you show the connection properties dialog, the error message screenshots? Why you highlighted the "system" catalog? Does it happen only using this catalog or it has some specific meaning?
