I get from FySpeed Informix connection error "[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified" but I connect via ConnectTest.exe from IBM Informix ODBC. What is the issue?

Do you connect via DSN or using the connection string?

I use FlySpeed Connection screen:

Connection Type= IBM Informix

Server Version=Informix Dynamic Server 11 & newer

Server=name of my Inf server

Host=IP address of my host

Servise=port for my inf DB

Protocol=onsoctcp

User name=my user name

Password=my password

Database=my DB name


With all parameters with Italic IBM test program ConnectTest.exe is connecting

and my Informix is 11.x

It is working now - I've installed 32 bit IBM Informix client - I have Win 7, 64 bits, so I have 64 bit client before. Thanks for the nice FlySpeed!

FlySpeed SQL Query is a 32-bit application. You need 32-bit drivers to get connected to your database server.
